Delete Your SpeakBand Account

You can permanently delete your SpeakBand account and its associated data at any time.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

1. Open SpeakBand and sign in.
2. On the home screen, tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm in the dialog.

Your account and data are erased immediately. This cannot be undone.

Option 2 — By email

If you cannot access the app, email softwareforbetterlife@gmail.com from the address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and email address
• Your saved password
• Your practice history — transcribed answers, AI feedback, and band scores
• Your progress, learning path, and topic history
• Your credits, subscription record, and referral data

Your voice recordings are never stored by us in the first place. Audio is transcribed in memory and discarded, so there is nothing to delete.

What is kept, and why

We keep records of purchases (amount, date, and transaction identifier) after deletion, with the link to your account removed so they no longer identify you. We are required to retain financial records for accounting and tax purposes. These records cannot be traced back to you once your account is deleted.

Your subscription itself is managed by Google Play. Deleting your SpeakBand account does not cancel your Google Play subscription — cancel it separately in Google Play to stop future billing.
